Tony Finch, CFP®

I'm a third-generation advisor, which means I grew up watching this work up close. I saw my grandfather and father sit down with families, help them think through major decisions, and stay involved with them over decades. That experience taught me something important early on: good financial advice isn't really about products or portfolios. It's about understanding what someone is trying to build and then helping them get there.

What I enjoy most about this work is getting to know people and hearing their stories. Everyone's situation is different, and I think that's what makes this job interesting. One client might be trying to figure out how to fund their kids' college without derailing their own retirement. Another might be a business owner who needs help structuring an exit plan. Someone else might just want to make sure they're not missing anything important. My job is to help with any of it. We're full-service advisors, and I like that I'm not limited to one narrow area of planning.

I earned my CFP® designation in November 2024 because I wanted to make sure I had the training and expertise to handle the complex questions people bring to the table. This business has evolved a lot over three generations, and staying current matters.

I was born in Lakewood and grew up loving everything about Colorado: the access to the mountains, the outdoor culture, and the way of life here. My wife Leslie and I have been married for ten years, and we have two daughters, ages eight and two (both Halloween babies, believe it or not). We live in Aurora now, which gives us easy access to both Denver and the mountains. When I'm not working, I'm usually spending time with my family, hiking, fishing, or just being outside. I'm also a bit of a tech enthusiast and enjoy 3D printing and building computers when I get the chance.

One of the reasons I love this career is that it gives me the flexibility to be present for my family while still doing work that matters. That balance is important to me.

I offer securities and advisory services through Géneos Wealth Management, Inc., a member of FINRA/SIPC.
