I got into this business because I wanted to help people take control of their financial lives. After 24 years in the industry—16 of those as an entrepreneur—I've learned that financial freedom isn't about hitting some magic number. It's about having a plan you understand, making decisions you feel good about, and knowing you're not leaving anything on the table.

I spend most of my time working with two groups: business owners who need help with retirement plans and strategic planning, and families (including multi-generational families) who are trying to make sure everything is working together toward their goals. On the business side, that means setting up and monitoring 401(k)s, 403(b)s, profit-sharing plans, and executive deferred compensation. On the family side, it's about building a strategy that actually fits their life and then staying involved to make sure it keeps working as things change.

I also serve as Chief Investment Officer here and lead our investment committee, which means I'm responsible for making sure our clients' portfolios are positioned appropriately and that we're staying on top of what's happening in the markets.

Before joining G5, I worked at Great West Life (now Empower), where I managed 401(k) plan conception, implementation, and monitoring. That's where I developed a deep understanding of plan administration and Department of Labor compliance—things that matter a lot but don't always get the attention they deserve.

I'm a third-generation business owner and a longtime Colorado resident. I've spent years developing relationships with communities along the Front Range and serving on various boards because I believe in being involved where you live.

I earned my bachelor's degree in business from Drake University and am a registered representative with Géneos Wealth Management, Inc., a member of FINRA/SIPC.
