I've always believed that the best financial advice is the kind that actually improves someone's quality of life—not just their portfolio balance. After more than 35 years in this business, that's still what drives me: helping people make wise decisions with their money so they can live the life they want.

My background spans banking, insurance, securities, and financial planning, which gives me a pretty comprehensive view of how all the pieces fit together. I founded one of Colorado's first registered investment advisory firms back in 1984 because I wanted to work with clients in a way that put their interests first. Over the years, I've worked with individuals on investment and retirement planning, and I've also spent a lot of time providing educational conferences for employees at companies like CenturyLink, AT&T, and Time Warner, as well as organizations like Cadence International Ministry and Camp ID-RA-HA-JE.

I became securities licensed in 1979 and hold multiple licenses, including FINRA Series 7, 24, 51, 63, and 65, as well as Life, Health, Long Term Care insurance, and Fixed and Variable Annuities. I'm a member of the Financial Planning Association and the Financial Services Institute. I'm registered to offer securities and investment advisory services through Geneos Wealth Management, Inc., a member of FINRA/SIPC.

My wife, Marsha, and I have lived in Colorado since 1971. We have two adult children and two grandchildren. When I'm not working, I enjoy camping, fishing, and shooting sports.

I studied at Oklahoma Baptist University, Wichita State University and completed coursework through the ABA America Institute of Banking.
